Blowing Our Own Trumpet…   McCauls has a rich history. Joe McCaul was a well known builder in the north west in the 1960s and 1970s and three of his sons, Martin, Sean and Tony are now in the construction business with their own companies. Bridge House is a joint project for Martin and Sean .

The companies do residential and commercial projects all over the country and believe their strengths and success is down to a unique blend of cutting edge designs, high standards of customer care and traditional family values.

They pride themselves on creating a product you won’t find anywhere else and last year was a memorable one.  Their first Manchester city development, The Point at New Islington was shortlisted for one of the UK’s top national design awards and was a huge success .

Another development, Astley Brook in the village of Astley,  Greater Manchester, where they are based, is the first sizable new housing development in the village for over 10 years and sold out very quickly. It completes this August.

They have fallen in love with  a pretty village called Ripponden in West Yorkshire and have just finished an exclusive development of nine house called Riverside Court. This year they start work  on their second Ripponden development,   along with a second development in Astley.

They have bought historic  Chaddock Hall which has been empty for over 5 years. They are creating a unique village around the Grade 11 listed house, and building 27 homes there with water features and walled gardens. It has already been put forward for the National House Building Awards.
